“Audubon Lion” – Lion at the Audubon Zoo – 18”X 24” I was in New Orleans at the Audubon Zoo. It was a typically hot day and I saw this lion resting in the sun. What struck me about this particular lion was that the sand and dirt it was lying on was the same tone and color as the lion itself, where it almost melted away into the ground. The only thing that was distinct about the scene was it’s mane. A classic male lion pose. Sitting there like a king.
